Oh Happy Day!

I have found myself at a point in life where I have a lot of time alone with my own thoughts, therefore I've decided to share them! Oh happy day, right!??
Anyways, the other day I was thinking that women have really been manipulated! We are told, and we believe so many different things by society.
We can look back and think we've come a long ways from the "old days" of women always wearing corsets and dressings with "stockings" and hats and gloves, but have we? Now we believe the idea that we have to try to appear younger, cover gray hair, fight wrinkles, try to keep ourselves at a weight or size that is only natural for a fourteen year old?! But all of this is not really my point!
Before I'm terribly sidetracked, my point is that as women we should befriend each other, support ourselves. Older women should support younger women, we don't really remember how frantic and tiring our days were at that stage in our lives, but we should trust that these young women are doing the best for their families that they know how to do, support them, love them, pray for them! And younger women should not be too quick to judge older woman that look so out of date, her clothing may not be stylish and her figure no longer youthful as having nothing to share or give into their lives, the older women are old soldiers that has been in the trenches longer than you, your time will come and you will have the chance to try to be stylish and youthful at an older age, if you have the time, energy or money to do it with.
We all have different gifts to share, let's start reaching out to the other women that touch our lives, friends, family, co-workers, even the woman that is checking out your groceries, take time to connect! We are not enemies and should not see each other as such. Take time to see the women in your life and give support, don't judge, encourage each other, pray for one another.
There is so much to be said here I'll probably have to revisit this subject, but at least I've made a start!
Be blessed!
